This is a commission I did on Procreate for malachi_caroll on Instagram. They requested their original character and my polar bear character drinking cola in winter. This helped me design a composition in which the characters are interacting with the environment they are inhabiting which I have never done before.

I Included a trail of music notes which is the score for Frozen Hillside from Kirby’s Air Ride and wanted to evoke a magical atmosphere and joy within this scene. In addition, I wanted them to be alone in an empty park surrounded by a forest having a great time, even though it is cold. Overall, I encourage viewers to have their own interpretations of this piece and envision what kind of conversations they are having.
