This was a Draw This In Your Style challenge hosted by zoeexiao on Instagram. For this challenge, the original artist will draw something, and other users would have to draw the original art in their own style. The original picture was up close picture of a lantern an a tree branch. My design incorporates a girl dressed in a traditional furisode (振袖) with cherry blossoms (桜) serving as a central theme to the composition.

I did extensive research on traditional Japanese fashion and accessories to bring out charisma. Of course it would not be my work without the use of magic and butterflies, so I included them to add that ambiance.
